This page of October 4, 2026 published a public-safety message as if it were a weather event. It was not one. The US weather service’s alert feed also carries the messages local authorities send to phones: missing-child alerts, police warnings, tests and local emergency notices. Our reader took them for weather.

Those messages are meant for the people in that place for the hours they last, and some of them name people. They are not disaster records, and since 4 October 2026 our reader leaves them out. The address stays where it is, and so does this explanation.
